The Broil King BARON 490 IRX gas barbecue is an innovative and versatile model designed to offer a complete outdoor cooking experience. Equipped with 4 stainless steel Dual-Tube™ burners, an infrared side burner and a rear burner with a complete rotisserie kit, it allows you to enjoy a wide variety of cooking styles with precision, from classic grilling to rotisserie cooking.

Its main feature is its modular design: the BARON 490 IRX can evolve from a traditional gas barbecue into a pellet barbecue thanks to an optional pellet kit, sold separately. By replacing the right-hand side shelf and the grease collector inside the cabinet, you can transform your barbecue into a true pellet smoker, ideal for exploring slow cooking, smoked recipes and wood pellet flavours.

With its reversible enamelled cast iron cooking grids, stainless steel Flav-R-Wave™ system and Therma-Cast™ cook box, the BARON 490 IRX ensures even heat distribution, excellent searing performance and controlled cooking. Its infrared side burner reaches up to 900°C in just a few minutes, perfect for searing meat at high temperature.
