The teak is the subject of a mechanical pickling that gives it an old and marble aspect. Then, in order to protect it from UV, bad weather, stains (fat, coffee, wines etc...) it goes through an exclusive treatment by applying 6 consecutive layers, giving it this finish grey, very contemporary. 
Maintenance: Do not oil it. Must be cleaned with water and soap.
